Can I register a company myself without a CA?
Mostly, yes. Founders can prepare nearly everything for incorporation themselves. The one exception is that SPICe+ must be certified by a practising professional: a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary or Cost Accountant.
What you can do yourself
- Choose and check the company name
- Apply for DSCs
- Collect identity, address and office documents
- Draft the MOA and AOA from Table A and Table F
- Prepare DIR-2, INC-9 and the office NOC
- Fill SPICe+ and its linked forms on the MCA portal
What needs a professional
The professional checks the documents and certifies the SPICe+ form with their own DSC, confirming that everything is correct and complete. They take legal responsibility for that certificate, so a good one will review your drafts rather than just sign.
The low-cost route
FreeCompliance prepares MOA, AOA, DIR-2, INC-9 and the NOC for ₹0. You can take them to any CA you know, or have our CA review, certify and file for ₹3,000. Start your application.
